This home is just over 12 years old, never a leak in any guttering. LeafFilter was installed less than a week ago and now the gutters leak just from dew and melted frost on the roof.

Every morning there is water dripping constantly right over the main door, and chairs on the deck. With leaks this bad from run off dew, a rain will mean using the side door. I called the 800 # and was told "someone will be contacting me soon.

No contact yet! Thinking of legal action!

I submitted pictures of the water in my flooded room and the $ 3,000 damage repair estimate to LeafFilter, With no reply, I have repeatedly called them without any follow-up. Please let consumers know that so save a few dollars LeafFilter didn't put the correct "ValleyGuard" screen on my valleys and the standard mesh was unable to accommodate the volume water off the valley of my roof.

I was contacted after my initial post on this site. After explaining the situation they sent a service tech and he looked at the filter screens. In a minute he said "I see the problem", we installed or normal fine mesh product but you need a Valley screen which has much larger holes.

I asked why they didn't install that product from the initial installation?

He replied that it was more expensive and they only used it if a problem was reported! I once again contacted the Corporate office and he said the same thing about waiting for a problem before installing the valley screen. I sent them an estimate for the floor damage and the french drain I installed because of the pooling water (caused by the inability to capture the water from the roof). I have spoken with them a few times and they said the pooling was due to a bad slope (I have lived here for 20 years and only had the issue AFTER their product was installed).

What a POOR product and poor after the SALE support.

I feel I am due sme compensation.

On 30Nov 18 I was given a estimate. I was told the job was to small to offer a $300.00 off year end special.

(The gutter is aprox. 25 feet long). I was given an amount of 756.00 (with $1002.00 written over it to look like I was getting the special). I texted the rep.

that my husband would like more information in writing on the guarantee. I gave my email and was advised the information would be sent the next day.

I searched my email for the next 3 days....NOTHING!!! Needless to say my husband wasn't impressed with the service.

I purchased new roof and gutters. Then had Leaf Filter installed. Seemed to work for a few weeks then major storm and the tar from the new roof clogged the filter screen causing a 5 inch puddle at my french door which backed up into the house, flooding my new $ 8,000 floor!

The company came out and saw the filter problem, replaced several feet of filter with a set of screen with larger holes.

Great..problem solved AFTER damage to my floor...but they don't want to compensate me for the damage caused by their poor product/installation. Tell your friends...DON'T USE THEM!!!

The installer knew it was a new roof and had new gutters. I find it hard to believe they didn't install the larger hole type mesh to start with in that environment.
