Installation without my consent, and now have damage

Re install original gutter protection, fix the damage done, and an apology from management and original salesmen.

Sales rep used high pressure sales tactics and threatened that the 40% in discounts offered to me after each time i said i was not interested would expire the minute he left my property. He had me sign a form so that i could think about it for two hours and do some research as i told him i was not comfortable making the purchase after a 45 minute sales pitch.

I later told him i would not be moving forward at which time he replied that i was wasting his time. So much for a free estimate. This was on 5/31. Today, on 6/3, i come home to find installers, installing the product.

The installer was very nice and apologized, stating this happens often and offered to remove the product at no cost to me. I later found out, he was unable to reinstall my original leaf protection product and i now have damage to my gutter.

I contacted the salesmen, upper management, left voice mails, talked with Bobbi in installation, many SM requests and no one is offering a solution to the problem i now have. Terrible service all the way around!

As of today, we have been contacted by one of the district managers and he is working with us. We have agreed to the repair of the Gutters and a 25% refund but we are not going to change the rating until we have been fully satisfied and can see that there is no excessive leaking or overflow after a hard rain.

Leaf Filter has made 3 out of 4 attempts were made to repair our Gutters and we are no longer wishing to deal with your service and just want our money back. On the 4th attempt, we were told by a sub contractor of Leaf filter that this installation was not done properly.

He took photos and was going to advise his corporate and have them contact us. We never heard from him again. You will notice water pouring everywhere in the photos.

The only way we could see this being repaired is if it is removed and complete reinstalled. This is now potentially creating more damage to our house now that the water is being more directed down then before.

We did not have this many problems with the *** gutters" we replaced these with.

The installation of the Leaf Filter on my house was very sloppy. Now the corners are popping up and the install was not a smooth continuous surface.

I had a problem with the installed area properly draining. I tried to call for service and there is no answer.

Very frustrating to have the product around one month and already have an issue.

Then no one answers to set up a service call afterwards. Finally, the website wouldn’t allow me to upload the video I took of the problem.

One week after Leaf Filter was installed I was up on a latter cleaning the gutters. They are worse then what was installed before.

Water does not filter fast enough through the screen and flows over the gutters.

Screens in some area are torn. They definately do not work as advertised.

To Whom It May Concern:

I have been trying to contact Leaf Filter regarding a full refund. I am totally unsatisfied with the work performed.

I have spoken to two people at customer service regarding the matter. They said Patrick would call me but hasn't as of yet. I feel I am getting the run around. There are so many issues with what the contractors did I do not even know where to start:

1.

Our salesperson Dan told us that all our gutters needed were silicon for repairs. He explained how this silicon was not the one used at stores but was mixed with another product, preventing leaks. Well, our gutters are leaking on the front and back very badly. I believe the back gutter is holding water and bringing nets but haven't actually gotten a ladder to look into the gutter guard.

2.

Our salesperson Dan told us that we could paint our gutters to get rid of the rust. So we get a professional painter contractor and no you can't. Painting gutters with rust will not get rid of them. The rust will come back.

3.

Our salesperson Dan told us how Leaf Filter would clean up and not leave trash. Well, they left leaves/debris all in the back yard from the old gutter. The second crew did pick them up.

4. The first crew that installed the gutter didn't install it right.

They didn't install it with a 45 degree angle. So now they're 3 joints instead of 2. The way they did it is not a professional quality look.

5. The second crew who installed the gutter guards, one of the guys was very unprofessional.

He was very flirtatious.

6. The second crew who installed the gutter guards did not seal the holes in gutters correctly and properly because they're leaking.

7. Also don't believe the second crew installed the gutters correctly when installing the gutter guard because the back one has attracted alot of nets which were not there before. I believe this is due from water sitting in the gutter.

8.

The second crew didn't use a roof ladder to install the gutter guards like shown in the booklet. One of the guys also broke one of the solar lights.

Again, my husband and I would like a full refund.

We would like for Leaf Filter to remove their gutter guards, gutters, and down spouts from our property. We are not satisfied customers and felt we were lied to!

We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible as this matter has been prolong already.

The high quality of the LeafFilter product was obvious. Installation was done within 3 days by a two man crew. 180 feet of gutter cover was installed on our two story Victorian home in about 4 hours.
