Read up front comments

Heard about product, went online to setup/get appointment for estimate. When corp. called me, I set up appt. for Sat. 12.29.18 at 9:00 a.m. and gave request for corp. to set up so person would use google maps to locate me (I even requested corp. to have person call me 30 minutes prior to arrival). Needless to say at 9:10 had not heard/seen person here. Called corp. and they were going to check into - during that call, person called me asking where I was at. He had not used google maps as requested and ended up 5 miles east of me at wrong address. Asked him to use google maps and eventually he showed up at 9:40.

Then the sales process of showing me your product, told him I had 300 lineal feet on total hip roof house. $8400 (to my shock) then he said about "did I get a 15% off coupon from corp. - said no I did not - but I said the $8400 was quite high, he then said all he could do was give me a 30% discount - down to $5800+...........

That is when I asked/told him it was obvious your company would charge me $8400 and when I rejected, he dropped to $5800+ (told him I as a consumer did not appreciate the "upfront" testing). He said everything is a negotiation just like my truck and car (in garage, where we were meeting). Was hoping your corp. would give me the "right/final" buy price "first time".

Would hope that your corp. would also develop better appointment setting, follow-up by estimators and also better sales techniques to eliminate "the upfront testing". I am not cheap, but a savvy consumer - just did not feel the sales "quote" process was appropriate. (dmrusch@hotmail.com)

lost animal due to lack of professionalism

I had this product installed on December 18, 2018. When my husband came home, he let our dogs in; but only one came in.

He went to look for the other one out in the fenced in back yard and saw that the gate had been left wide open. We do not use that gate. So after searching for several hours for my lost dog, with no positive result, I proceeded to call the sales rep. Told him what happened.

He said he sent an e-mail and text to his manager and they would be calling me back. No response as of yet. Why would anybody that is working on someone's house, and has dogs in the fenced in back yard, and the rep knew I had dogs, would leave the gate wide open. Because I expected professionalism, I know have a missing dog, and nobody is willing to call me and talk to me directly.

I will not refer this company to anybody that has animals.

They come up missing. Shame on this company for not even having the guts to call and actually talk to me about this.

This home is just over 12 years old, never a leak in any guttering. LeafFilter was installed less than a week ago and now the gutters leak just from dew and melted frost on the roof.

Every morning there is water dripping constantly right over the main door, and chairs on the deck. With leaks this bad from run off dew, a rain will mean using the side door. I called the 800 # and was told "someone will be contacting me soon.

No contact yet! Thinking of legal action!

I submitted pictures of the water in my flooded room and the $ 3,000 damage repair estimate to LeafFilter, With no reply, I have repeatedly called them without any follow-up. Please let consumers know that so save a few dollars LeafFilter didn't put the correct "ValleyGuard" screen on my valleys and the standard mesh was unable to accommodate the volume water off the valley of my roof.

I was contacted after my initial post on this site. After explaining the situation they sent a service tech and he looked at the filter screens. In a minute he said "I see the problem", we installed or normal fine mesh product but you need a Valley screen which has much larger holes.

I asked why they didn't install that product from the initial installation?

He replied that it was more expensive and they only used it if a problem was reported! I once again contacted the Corporate office and he said the same thing about waiting for a problem before installing the valley screen. I sent them an estimate for the floor damage and the french drain I installed because of the pooling water (caused by the inability to capture the water from the roof). I have spoken with them a few times and they said the pooling was due to a bad slope (I have lived here for 20 years and only had the issue AFTER their product was installed).

What a POOR product and poor after the SALE support.

I feel I am due sme compensation.
