Leaffilter North - Review in Household Services category

They came, they worked, they left. So I can't see anything from the ground so I trust they're there. So my question is...why did I choose a color?

We bought them in August and they were installed incorrectly so the company made it right by replacing all our gutters and installing new Leaf Filters. The stand by their product. Our home is surrounded by woods that include pine trees and now we no longer have to get...

LeafFilter North in Cleburne, Texas - COMPLETE FAILURE in Customer Service

LeafFilter North - COMPLETE FAILURE in Customer Service
Had them install gutters onto my home and the first time it rained I had a leak. Called the 1-800 # and had to leave a message. Someone from Ohio called the next day and said a local person would call to schedule someone to come out. 2 days go by and I still have not had a call back, so I call again. Again, I am told that someone will call me. Three more days go by and I still have not heard from anyone, so I call again and finally get to speak to someone. They tell me someone will come out the next day. The person did come out today and said the part that was leaking was installed incorrectly and he will fix it. He fixes it and now the paint is all scratched and it looks like ***. He says "I don't have any paint; I hope that's ok" knowing full well that it looks ***. My response "Well, I guess it will have to be". No, for $3,000 it's not ok. It should be fixed and look nice.

LeafFilter North - No more climbing on the roof for me!!

It was a pleasure doing business with Leaf Filter. I researched the competitors and decided on Leaf Filter as the best product for our situation. JR Bowser in sales was great to deal with - no hard sell here. He was here on Saturday, and then Luke and an installer were here Monday afternoon to do the install, which took about 2 hours. Everything was just as described, and the finished result is exactly what I had hoped!

LeafFilter North - Clogged filters

Ever since the Leaf Filter system was installed on my home in 2011, I have had a problem with water cascading over the gutters. It's as though there's a lid on them preventing the water from entering. Regular maintenance has been necessary in order to remove debris (mainly pine needles); however, the most recent inspection by a professional roof/gutter cleaner showed the gutter screens to be clogged with pollen and algae. He suggested the screens be removed. I called Leaf Filter to discuss their guarantee only to find the franchise I originally dealt with is out of business. Leaf Filter will not honor the warranty. Over $2000 wasted.

LeafFilter North - 5 years and still loving them

I have had Leaf filter protectors installed on my home for 5 years now and they live up to what they claim. I have never had to clean the gutters since we had them installed in 2001, we have pine trees and maple trees and the leaf filter keeps all the debris out of the gutter. The design is good and of high. quality. We are very pleased customers and would highly recommend Leaf Filter to everyone.

LeafFilter North in Jacksonville, Florida - Our experience with Leaf Filter.... ARGH!!!!

Yes, Unfortunately a new worker came to our home & convinced my husband we needed gutter covers. The installation was very POOR at best & the parts (Spacers)are still falling off the gutters every day!!! At $1700, I doubt this will be of help to us. The Leaf Filter company doesn't stand behind their installers to show them how to install them properly! What a waste of hard earned $$$!!! I have several discusted reviews to write, maybe we can keep some people from wasting their hard earned money like we did! ARGH!!!! The Patrick's 4557 Deer Valley Drive Jax., Fl. 32210

LeafFilter North in Englewood, Colorado - Poor customer service

Leaf Filter North of Washington, Inc I am not sure if the "Leaf Filter" product is good or bad. They told me they had 120,000 happy customers. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. I am not posting a bad review because this is a hobby. I am posting because this has been a very bad experience and I would hate that you or someone you know would have to experience that we went through. And we still have NO gutters. Just read my story and think about it. Is this what you want to possibly experience? Then go for it. On September 10, 2016 Leaf Filter sales rep Zack W. arrives to introduce us to the product. We like what he is showing us and it looks like a quality built in the USA product. Zack writes an agreement with a approx. start & completion date of September 27, 2016. The dollar amounts were agreed upon and we were excited and ready. The 27th arrives and we wait and wait. We finally call them to get info on their eta. They are not coming today, per the installation manager Jason, because a piece of equipment broke. We agreed that the next day, 28th, was ok. Wednesday arrives and so does Leaf Filter installers. I speak with the installers come to find out they were in Portland and knew nothing of the augers issues, mmmm Jason. It looks like all is going good now. But wait....they show up with less than 60 feet of material. They have nothing to work with. I read their work order and it said we had 150' of existing gutter. That was baffling, why would we be paying to have gutters installed if we all ready had them. Oh well the installers were very nice and were extremely embarrassed by the situation. So, once again we reschedule this time for October 3 and again we have to contact the office to locate the crew. They are not coming, all of their trucks are broken down. The entire fleet must be two trucks. Now we have to reschedule for October 19th. We thought this would give them time to make repaired to the fleet and get our material gathered. Finally it is the 19th and they set a time of 8-9 a.m. which we agreed. We wait and wait. Noon rolls around a we call. Guess what? Their trucks broke down and they would need to reschedule. NO YOU WILL NOT! That was four days of vacation wasted.
