Good quality

Every time we went to our beach house the gutters were so clogged with needles and leaves. Then we would get a heavy Carolina rain and the water overflowed the gutters horribly and it rotted our fascia boards and our front porch.

After installing Leaf Filter we have no more issues and I am so grateful. I just wish I had done it years ago instead of wasting $1000's on the rotten wood repairs.

My neighbors tried a system with helmet style covers but the leaves got stuck in the gap and they said it's virtually worthless. They are sick to their stomach because they paid more than we did for Leaf filter that actually works.

Good customer service

I have dozens of pine trees in my yard and Leaffilter is the only system that has ever worked on my house. I tried another gutter cover first but the pine needles clogged it up after 6 months.

I am shocked at these other reviews that are negative on here, and I would suspect they might be competitors and they could be lying about Leaffilter to make their product sound better.

I have had several friends and family members hire Leaffilter also and they are all well pleased. One piece was installed wrong in the valley but their service guy fixed it and we've never had any more issues and that was about 9 years ago.

Based on many different variables, including the number of feet of damaged LeafFilter, the number of stories on your home, the number of inside/outside corners, etc. would affect the price of LeafFilter. Pricing issue

I paid what turns out to be an obscene amount of money some years ago to have Leaf Filter installed on my home. I have been moderately happy with the L.F. system, it keeps leaves out of the gutters but in a moderate to heavy rain the water runs over the gutters and onto the ground.

Recently I had my roof replaced and the roofers messed up a section of the L.Fs. creating very small gaps in some of the covers. Everything worked normal but I was concerned bees or something may find their way in there. I called L.F. to get an estimate and was told the area manager "Matt" will contact me. No call. After some time I called again and was told the same thing. Matt then called many days later stating he was busy. We set up an appointment and Matt turned out to be a no call no show! I waited a week for him to contact me with some excuse but he did not. I then tried to contact him but no return call. I told L.F. "I am through with Matt, is there anybody else I can talk to". The operator told me the manager "Scott" will contact me that day. No calls from the manager but Matt called(the person I said I did not want to deal with anymore). He sent an employee to measure the area who then put me on the phone with Matt who told me he would give me an estimate "today or tomorrow at the latest". No estimate! 2weeks later Scott(the manager) called me. He clearly did not have any measurements from Matt because he asked me how much of the gutter system needed repair. I told him to ask Matt for the measurements. Scott then "pulled out my file" and gave me as estimate of $1950.00 to fix the one section of L.F. system with small gaps in the covers! Scott couldn't understand why I wouldn't set up a appointment for repair! Scott never apologized for Matt and when I explained why I wasn't happy with the Leaf Filter company he became aggressive with me so I hung up on him.

Poor employees stem from poor management. Poor managers stem from a poor company.

BTW I repaired the section my self. It cost me about $17.00 and took about a half hour of my time.

My leaffilter product buckled in the middle under the pressure of 90 degree heat for about a week. I called and they said someone will call.

Someone did call and left me a message but I called back several times and got the voicemail after a couple rings. I did leave a message but no return call. Then I got another call saying I haven't returned their call. Really?

Save your hard earned money and don't give it to leaf filter. I am going with another company. Not other systems from the same person who invented leaf filter either. Yes, I am clumping them all together.

I would have paid for a repair.

To bad. They lost my business and word of mouth is going around.

Poor customer service

Wife was not home. I told the Rep.

that I would not make a decision without her approval. He told me that he would write it up and if when my wife got home and decided that we did not want it to give him a call and he would cancel the install. We did exactly that and he will not answer his phone. Realizing I have been set up I took a look at the contract which he had dated for the day before.

The clause at the bottom states that the buyer must send in a written cancellation letter to the seller, notifying them to cancell, post marked no later than 3 days of the contract date or be reliable for a 25% fee. This company is training their people to be crooks so I would recommend not to consider their product for one minute. I will do everything possible to inform potential customers and if you have been scammed make sure to post your experiance here also as they will all help when the Police are running their investigation. I have reported them already and am working on getting this on local TV stations.

My family and I had the unfortunate experience of being seated for breakfast next to a table of LeafFilter North Executives while dining at the Sheraton Suites, Cuyahoga Falls Hotel in Ohio. We had recently had a LeafFilter salesman come to our house to provide us with a quote and information on this gutter protection system.

This is why my husband picked up on the identification logo on the shirts of these guys. I cannot use the word "gentlemen" to describe. We were a family having a nice breakfast with our son. The LeafFilter guys were yucking it up, every other sentence containing the F-bomb.

Their conversation included commentary on the color of the falls we could see from the dining room windows looking as though they contained "fecal matter". So much for a good breakfast.

They continued gleefully discussing a new business opportunity in Alabama where discrimination in a particular community was perfectly okay since codes allow for over-55 communities, after all. I was disgusted by the demeanor of these men and as a result will never do business with a company that supports such behavior and attitudes from the top down.

leaf filter suck do not buy.sales rep was pushy.$5000 for what 100 with fly net and plastic.went whit a small gutter company $400 and $175 for leaf guard.stay away..........

Problems with payment

My company did installations for leaf filter for just over 2 weeks. We completed every job we started with complete professionalism.

After working for kver 2 weeks we decided the money wasn't right for us. So we dropped off all extra materials to the local office. We have called and talked to the manager about being paid for our jobs numerous times. We have heard about 3 different excuses why we never received a check all bs.

If you ask me they are ripping people off installing for them.

The product was great to install was easy to handle. Would just be alot cooler to get paid the $1000 dollars owed.

Please check the IP addresses and note that I am a real customer of your more than sub par gutter system. The patented screen which is placed over the gutters must be coated with super glue or some sticky substance which holds leaves, twigs and anything in the air which in turn blocks the gutters on top.

Nothing; not even rain, goes onto the gutters thus making a curtain of rain which may eventually cause leaks in your home. If you need some type of gutter system please do your homework and put Leaf Filter at the bottom of your list. Please be cautious of the VP who has excelled in poor communication skills and problem solving.

Asking to speak to the owner will not help as he is well protected and most likely aware of the performance of his system.

These bad reviews are ridiculous. If you check the IP addresses where are all these negative comments are coming from, it proves that the competitors are the ones who are posting negative reviews, NOT former customers.

Leaf Filter is a great product and was rated #1 by consumer reports. Consumer reports has been trusted with their nonbiased reviews of many products for several years. Please don't be fooled by this website into believing the lies about this company or the negative product reviews.

The competitors are trying to do everything they can to make Leaf filter seem like a bad company and product. It's simply not true.
