One of the main reasons we had leaf filter installed was due to our neighbors pine trees needles clogging our gutters - keeping them from draining. Now with the leaf filter - they are all standing straight up from the gutters and we cannot tell if they are allowing the gutters to drain or not.

we are 78 and 80 years old and cannot climb on a ladder to check.

Is that something that is covered with our system or are we on our own. If so, I feel you misrepresent your products value to us

LeafFilter product

This was probably one of the best experiences I've had in a while! The salesman was professional, the sub-contractor did an exellent job of installing the product, the price was right on the money and, after a rain, the product proved to do exactly as advertised. LeafFilter is one of those companies that you can see why they are successful. From start to finish there was absolutely no problems. Thanks for a great product and process!! -Harold S.

I Joyce Riley have decided that I am not wanting to go on with the installation of the leaf filter for Tuesday: February 28, 2023 between 8-12:00 in the morning. I actually want to cancel this contract all together after more carefully looking it over.

I read some of the reviews online, where some said that damage started to occur on the soffit and fascia after the leaf filter was installed.

Anyway, I have decided that I want to discontinue at this time due to present snow conditions. And other needs that need taking care of as well.

User's recommendation: I'm not sure. Leaf filters may be fine but there have been some negative reviews as well.

Salesman

Salesman was very professional and knowledgeable. Being a retired contractor, I asked some very specific questions and he answered them well. The next day, the installer showed up right on time. He was able to do the complete install in between thunderstorms. He was quick and proficient. As a former contractor, I'd hire both of them on the spot!!! -Walt

Why leaf filter managers do not return calls?I had leaf filter installed in September 2019. Before this product was installed I didn't have any problems. Rain water overflows all around the house, causing dampness in my basement...

Very Happy Customer

I had Leaf Filter installed on my home in the fall of 2022. I waited to write a review until I saw the product in different conditions. Having now gone through a winter that has given us heavy rains, snow and winds, I can say that Leaf Filter is an excellent product. The entire process was smooth, from the sales rep measuring out what I needed to the experienced installer putting it on. I am very pleased with Leaf Filter. -Terry

The installer, obviously, had little to no training and no one to oversee his work. There was damage to our roof edge, due to debris being pushed up under the shingles, the installer didn't clean away debris before installing the filter.

An installation trainer was sent to look, after we sent photos of the issues and damage to the area manager. She told the installation trainer, she thought maybe we pushed the debris under the shingle when wiping snow away for photos she requested, so already the blame game began. The installation trainer pointed out several other issues we'd not seen and agreed with us wanting a refund and the filters removed. He took photos and sent those to us as well as his manager.

She called and said she didn't have the authority to refund our money, but would have her district manager call. He did and was he ever rude, sarcastic and refused a refund and removal, this took place within their three-day cancellation period. Their warranty is written so they have no liability and it is a useless warranty. We specifically asked about ice and snow build up and were told by the sales lady, it's never an issue, that's a LIE as we've already had issues.

Look online at all the complaints about clogged filters, ice dams and damage caused by the filter. We also spoke to the Leaf Filter's corporate office, with no resolution.

We've filed a complaint with the BBB, our credit card company disputing the charges, and the Montana Attorney General's office. Furthermore, we do not wish for any further damage, we just want the filters removed and a full refund, we will seek legal action if needed in the event of a continued refund refusal.

User's recommendation: Stay away from this company!
