LeafFilter North - False presentation of free cleaning that is offered and marketed on national TV. The gutters are nice as long as you have a good installer. My installer work had to be redone twice.

I also had to create insurance claim due to water came in house to water was collecting in gutters. The installer did not install with downward slop and water bellied in front of house gutter.
Our deductible was $1000.00 to have looked at to resolve. I was not happy knowing I spent $5000.00 for gutters that caused this water damage to our ceiling and tiles. I even called Leaf Filter about this. The technician never showed up.
I had to call again last fall and he never showed again. Then they later came to my house of course when I was at work. I was not able to view what they did due to being at work. I did not appricaite someone on our propoert when no one was home.
Plus I wanted to show Ryan who came out damaged done within home due to water collecting. The gutter was fixed now for the third time in the front of house. This product is great but installers are very poor for the proce you pay. I work for Lowe's and deal with install a great deal in my 9 years working for the company.
the professionalism with leaf Filter has not been their for a company rating as number #1. The product is number #1 but not the installers and compliance to their "LIFE TIME WARRANTY" they advertise and "free cleaning 2 times a year" is false advertisement on TV.

Over Priced but better than gutters that you buy at Lowe's. However Lowe's has since then changed a lot of their product and its similar to Leaf Filter without the huge price.
I advise to get more than one estimate since their are several different installers that are sub contracted out from this company that install for "LEAF FILTER". The gutters need to have downward gravitation fall so water does not collect in the gutter. The installer did not do this and I had to have them fix twice plus put in "MISSING SCREWS AT JOINTS". The product is only good if its installer correctly.
So installer need to make sure they comply so this doesn't void your"LIFETIME WARRANTY" that I advise to read clearly when they do your work of installing the gutters. LIFETIME is only on the product not INSTALLATION. So read carefully all consumers who are purchasing. I work for Lowe's and deal with installs on a regular basis and new what to look for.
However other consumers might not think twice about looking for these concerns that could arise later and have potentional customer service issues with claims. Also Leaf Filter needs to update their marketing advertisements of offering free leaf cleaning with purchase contract. You are advertising on TV as of year 2020 but not complying to what you are advertising on national TV. This is HUGE decrepenticy.
I called service claims # 1-80*-749-**** and they state they do not do this for free. This is a charge of $99 service call. I made Leaf Filter aware that they were doing as of last year October 2019 WHEN I HAD MY LAST CLEANING. I NORMALLY DON'T WRITE REVIEWS BUT I FELT THIS ONE WAS NECESSARY SINCE I SPENT $5000.00 BACK ON 11-12-2012 FOR LEAF FILTER GUTTERS ON MY 2000 SQUARE FOOT HOME IN MONROE, NC.
HOPE THIS HELPS FUTURE PURCHASERS. I AM HAPPY WITH THE GUTTERS BUT WISHED THEY HAD MORE EXPERIENCED INSTALLERS. OTHER THAN THE PRICE.
I WISH THE COMPANY WOULD COMMIT TO WHAT THEY ADVERTISE AND SALESMAN WRITE WHAT THEY DISCUSS WITHIN CONTRACT AGREEMENT. THIS IS SO VERY IMPORTANT WITH CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND BUSINESS WOTK ETHICS OF HONESTY.
User's recommendation: READ CONTRACT AND WARRANTY FULLY. VERIFY INSTALLER DID CORRECTLY. GET 2ND ESTIMATE AND OPINIONS.
Monetary Loss: $1000.
Preferred solution: Price reductions for poor installation due to so many attempts to correct. Honour cleaning gutters that you market for advertisement and what I was told at time of purchase. I had water collect in gutter and cam in my house to poor installation to roof..
