In September of 2020 we signed a sales agreement with LeafFilter to install their system on our house gutters. Several times during 2021 we had to have them come out for water was coming over the gutters due to the volume of rain and our valley flows.

None of their attempts to fix the issue have worked. We called the corporate office, 800-749-**** and local office, 253-242-**** numerous times only to be told the information was being passed on to the resolution and/or escalated team. No response until late March 2022 or early April 2022. A man came out that looks just like Matt Hanshue the district manager.

He said at that time the LeafFilter system does not work for the Pacific Northwest area we live in with the trees and heavy rain. He said he would pass the information on the resolution team. We started calling again and heard nothing until the first of May. Matt Hanshue district manager and a man named Rob the local manager came out.

They spent time taking pictures and talking before coming up with putting on fascia boards behind the gutter and lowering the gutters to have the leafFilter at more of an angle. At the time they said they might have to cut shingles and we were to check with our roofer. They told us that the changes they were proposing would make about an 80% improvement on the overflow of water. We never at any time gave them permission to cut shingles.

On May 12 Hayden Anker and a man named Adam were sent out by LeafFilter to take down the gutters, place primed fascia board on the house and reinstalled the gutters back up. By doing this the gutters do not fit correctly any more and it shows that when they originally installed the leaffilter or during one of the fixes they cut the shingles too short especially where the valley flows are. I took videos of the water heavily cascading off the gutters splashing down onto the house, doors and creating a pool. Water was coming from behind the fascia boards and the gutters.

We called Matt Hanshue and he had Hayden come back out. He tried to fix the problems. They told us they could not fix the problems and that we should get an attorney. Neither Hayden or Adam cut shingles.

We text Matt Hanshue several time and sent videos of the water problems when it rained. He did not respond. We texted Rob 206-234-**** on May 27th and he said; Wow I will get Matt to contact you ASAP. Matt texted on May 27th.

He apologized for delay and said he We have videos and pictures of the water coming over, behind gutters, splashing on doors and siding creating mildew. We also have pictures of areas where the shingles were cut too short and the caulking they put on to try and fix the problems.

User's recommendation: Do not buy LeafFilter.

Monetary Loss: $4437.

Preferred solution: Refund our money for the leafFilters do not work on our home and are causing expensive damage. Matt Hanshue is not communication with us..
