I had Leaf Filter come to my house to get a quote. After a long presentation I was told they would provide a price that is good for 12 months.

I was then told that there is a discount if I agree on the spot while the salesman was at my house. I explained my concerns that I was not 100% sure if I was going to be buying the house as it is currently joint property with my soon to be ex as we are still in divorce process. I was told that I could secure the discounted price by putting 25% down by Brian Reiner the sales person. He called his supervisor Penny and she agreed that with 25% down secures price and they would not proceed with the order or cash check until I contacted her to say move forward.

We discussed that it may be a couple of weeks before I know and was told that was fine. I was also assured several times that money is not paid until install and that I would pay balance by check or through finance.

Check was cashed and has overdrawn my acct. I want order cancelled and $ back

User's recommendation: Deceitful business practices.

Monetary Loss: $1500.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
