Love this product! My hubby is going on 80; really shouldn't be on a ladder anymore. And when I cleaned the gutters, I figured I didn't either. This will totally eliminate that. I've been a Leaffilter representative for almost 5 years in Michigan. I also have this product on my own house for 3 years now. I have been reading all these stories and reviews of LF problems in its function and service provided. I know that what we promise in our demo is not over promised. This is the best design out there and it keeps all your *** out of your gutters and will take an amazing amount of water without overflow. It does help with ice keeping from building up in your gutters too.

I'm glad I bought it for my own home.

We only install new gutters and Leaffilter, not windows, roofs and siding too. We specialize in 1 thing and do it very well.

If you decide to purchase Leaffilter it will protect your biggest investment your home also the safety factor keeping you off the ladder. AK

I worked as a Leaf Filter sales rep for about a year (in 2013). everything bad you have posted is true - and there's more.

At the Friday morning sales meetings the reps and managers sit around a table laughing about the sales they made - mostly who could come up with a better lie to get a customer's signature. The reason they install jobs so fast . . is so customers don't wise up and cancel - seriously!

The BOTTOM price managers can offer is $10 per foot plus $10 per corner.

(the rep loses his fat commission at this point) If you place an order, then try to cancel b4 install, they'll give you this price. Reps get paid 10% commission at $22/ft and, NOTICE this, HALF of the money YOU pay above $22/ft.

Problems with payment

My company did installations for leaf filter for just over 2 weeks. We completed every job we started with complete professionalism.

After working for kver 2 weeks we decided the money wasn't right for us. So we dropped off all extra materials to the local office. We have called and talked to the manager about being paid for our jobs numerous times. We have heard about 3 different excuses why we never received a check all bs.

If you ask me they are ripping people off installing for them.

The product was great to install was easy to handle. Would just be alot cooler to get paid the $1000 dollars owed.

It's not maintenance free like sales say it is. You still have to clean it,so why spend that much money to still have to get up on a ladder and clean the top of your gutters? Because they tell you that it's the best B-S.

Don't do it! Several phone calls and visits to/from this sham of a company failed to resolve our ice problem.

If you live in a climate where you get snow/ice, this system does not work. They are very good at "passing the buck" with every different person saying this was the first they had heard of our problem. And they all have the same way of side-stepping and avoiding the issue. Their guarantee is worthless.

We are contacting an attorney today. VP told us yesterday that we don't have a problem.

He would have someone come and uninstall our system, but he "will not refund one dime." This was an approximately $5,000 job. Any one in on a class action lawsuit?

My wife and I went to our cities annual art fair. At the event we stopped by a booth which was showing Gutter Protection.

The lady at the display suggested that we fill out a card to get a "FREE NO COST & NO OBLIGATION ESTIMATE". Too day's later we were called by: LEAF FILTER for our estimate. The Salesperson was only 48 hours late, and was very,very, HIGH PRESSURE!!.

He was extremely unhappy that we didn't sign up for his price $ 3,644.00 (152 ft.) of high priced protection! The next morning we were called by LEAF FILTER'S regional manager and he offered a total price including all taxes of $ 1672.00 WOW DON'T BUY FROM THE FIRST GUY, SAVE BIG MONEY WAIT!!

Just after we had the Leaffilter system installed we started to have problems-water cascading over 3 corners in any kind of rain and water running over regular parts with just a fine coating of pollen. It took 3 weeks and several phone calls to finally get someone here to look at it.

When he finally showed, he explained he had been on the job only 2 weeks for our installation, training was terrible, and he thought he could fix it by adding splash guards and sloping the product and admitted these should have been done in the first place. We had no confidence in this individual. Attempts to get assistance from our sales person (left) and installation manager (in that job for a week and kept on insisting we stick with this installer) were nothing but frustrating.

Costly mistake from which we will learn! We hired a company with its own employees to replace this system ASAP before any more damage can be done!

Needless to say we have no confidence in this installer. Our original sales person had left and the installer manager had been on the job for a week.

He actually said the installer who didn't show twice was good when we asked to have someone else put on the job. Costly mistake on our part but having the system removed ASAP and going to a system and company with its own employees.
