These may work in warm weather states but NOT good for Colorado or states that get a lot of snow, ice & cold temps. We got these gutters Sept.
2019, and here came winter shortly after and every time it snows, we get huge hanging icecicles that melt onto the walkway, driveway, and dog runs and cause a death trap of solid ice. its like an ice skating rink. The melting snow forms along the edge of the gutters and can't drain through the tiny mesh, so re freezes, Then the sun shines a little and melts them into solid sheets of ice on the ground. We drove up & down our streets for blocks & blocks and our house is the only one with a hundred big heavy icecicles hanging.
Have called the company repeatedly for months with no result. Finally asked for a job manager to come & look and they sent only an installer 3 weeks ago and we have heard nothing back. We had our attic and garage eves re-insulated a couple years ago, so that is not the problem. My husband took photos with his phone.
This has happened every time it has snowed. These gutters were very expensive compared to the average ones and may work ok in rain but not winter. When my husband talked to the installer who came out to look, he nearly admitted the company knew this was a problem and we should have been told about this ahead of time. They know it is a big issue.
Customer service was very poor.
No call backs after they cashed our check. We feel so refund is in order, being that we were not fully informed of this problem.
