Pitch is wrong, drop is wrong, gutters are bent, screens are twisted and bent, they used white zip hinges on brown gutters, screens are installed at an angle outside the gutters. They bent the roof drip edge down into the gutter negating my roof warrantee, one of the downspouts was pieced together, no elbows used on one of the downspouts.

User's recommendation: Run away as fast as you can!!

I canceled within 24 hours and was told that I would get my money refunded. I have yet to get my refund.

When you call you keep getting transferred all over.

Don't want leaf filter as my roof will get damaged when they remove gutter helmet. I explained and they said they would cancel my order/

User's recommendation: Don't accept "decision must be made right now or offer goes away". what a lie!

Leaf Filter is an impressive product

I was impressed with the Leaf Filter product! The installer did a super job and answered all my questions. It took him almost 6 hours to install as rain arrived and made my membrane roof very slippery. The gutters are so stable after they were secured by the installer. The Leaf Filter system looks very nice on the gutters and the plastic grid work under the stainless steel mesh makes the system quite substantial. The “no clog” guarantee was a positive for me. I am looking forward to not having to clean my gutters out anymore! - Linda I.

We moved into this home situated on a five acre lot of oak trees in April with little rain until one morning the clouds let loose and water poured off our roof. The basement flooded from a window well near the corner of the house with the leaky gutter above.

I knew I needed a repair. Everything was explained about the system and it suited my needs.

July 2021 I had gutters installed by leaf filter. The same day it rained, and water flowed over and in between the gutter and flashing.

I had reached out to leaf filter many times and received no response. Finally, someone from the Albany, NY office reached out. Techs came out on multiple occasions to remedy the situation. The last tech applied sealant between the gutter and flashing.

I have been told by leaf-filter that in heavy rains, rain can overflow. However, I am the only home during heavy rain that happens to. I should not have to pay someone to regrate the area and relocate my electrical box because water is overflowing behind and in front of the gutters. My previous gutters did not have an issue of overflowing even with the existing downspouts being barred underground.

The reason I had leaf filter install new gutters was because of a new roof that was put on my home in May 2021. I wanted everything to look new. If I was not disabled, I would have fixed this myself. Bottom line: I still have defective gutters, with ladder marks on them, and gobs of silicone to stop the water from overflowing.

I should not be penalized for having to deal with quick fixes for an installation that went bad.

I should not have to pay $95.00 to have someone come look at a preexisting issue. Reality:- I don't understand why Leaf Filter has not said to me" We will take down the gutters and start fresh with new gutters installed by an experienced installer." It's an absolute shame that I should have to go through all this stress to have new gutters installed properly.

Gage, the young man that came to my home was fantastic. He was professional and very knowledgeable. The young man that installed my gutter covers was wonderful as well. He was very efficient and cleaned everything up. I have already referred a few friends to LeafFilter. I am so pleased not to have to have out on a ladder to clean gutters. - Lee Ann

I have recently installed new gutters. I have noticed a issue when it rains.

I called and received a service appointment date and time. No show, no call on day of appointment.

I called 2 times inquiring about my appointment as was told 2 times that service was still on the way. Once again, no call, no show, I have called 3 times since then and been told that someone would contact me concerning a new appointment, once again, no call.

My experience with leaf filter has been a positive one, installation was done quick and professional and they cleaned my gutters before they installed. Very happy with the end result! I have many trees around my house and get tons of leaves, this purchase is going to be an excellent investment for year’s to come!
